Kursara Port View is special as it encapsulates the spirit of the female Maltese Pirate, the "Kursara", with its views of the Port Breakwater of the Grand Harbour.

Set in one of the unique streets of Malta’s capital, Valletta, this traditional city building that has been completely renovated. The building offers a shared sun terrace with a hydromassage bath overseeing the breakwater of the historic Grand Harbour where you can relax after a day of exploring the vibrant city of Valletta. The top 2 apartments also have partial sea views and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. The apartments are spacious and feature a balcony, a fully equipped kitchen, and a flat-screen TV.

This beautiful traditional building was owned by a sea captain, she was part of a group of privateers called Kursara. Sailing under the flag of The Knights of St. John, they were allowed to legally attack Turkish ships, plundering them in the time of war. They were also instrumental to help the Knights of Malta to win over the Ottoman Empire’s best fleet headed by the well known Dragut when they tried to invade Malta in 1565 in what is remembered as the Great Siege of Malta. Staying at Kursara Port View puts you right in the middle of all this history whilst enjoying the fantastic views of the Grand Harbour.

Located within a 1-minute walk to the Mediterranean Conference Centre and the University of Malta - Valletta Campus in Valletta, Upper Barrakka Gardens is a 7-minute walk and the National War Museum is a 5-minute walk away. The view from the terrace is the "breakwater" a wall from the sea floor to the surface that mutes the waves from the sea within the harbour. Where the breakwater meets the land you can see uninhabited forts famous for setting the movie backdrops to Gladiator and Troy.
